About Our Aussies

I'll never forget about the first time I saw K-aus. It was our wedding day and we just finished the ceremony and started to take pictures nearby the barn. Bryce's Aunt Donna was standing with my new Father-in-Law chatting with the most beautiful dog I have ever seen. A Red Merle Australian Shepherd. Later that night, I made the effort to introduce myself and that Aussie jumped right into my lap on my already dirty wedding dress, that was it. I was hooked. 

​A few weeks later, we were driving to meet Aunt Donna to pick up our 15 week old puppy, Tonka. Donna is a reputable Australian Shepherd Breeder and judge in ASCA (Australian Shepherd Club of America). She had a litter of puppies that was out of K-aus and another one of her bitches, Daisy. 

In 2017, we introduced Critter girl into our lives. We got her from Foxpointe Aussies in San Diego. She was a wonderful addition to our family, a true "shadow" dog to me. Critter was our first girl to have 3 gorgeous litters with us. These puppies have fabulous homes. Two of her pups stayed with us!

The rest is history. We show our dogs in conformation and our boys compete in 4H dog events. These dogs are a part of the family and give us joy in our lives. We have had our hearts set on keeping the Australian Shepherd breed and heritage thriving by starting our own breeding program in 2020.
